The new concept of “Grandpa Soundstone” takes form more and more.
In the next part – part 4 – I design the logical line
from real audible waves
to their mathematical formula,
further to program code in a higher language, probably C++ or C#,
then down to machine code
to reach the famous ones and zeros at last.
Then I jump back to the the first program code (C++ or C#)
and take the route to making VSTs.
Having reached that point I´ll return again to the program code,
but this time I turn to the matter of digital to analog converters (DAC)
to reach the speakers of my system a last.
You could call the journey a route from real audio back to real audio therefore.
The Video is going to be only a draft of the described journey, showing the “landscape” to the right and to the left of the road as well as some few details.
The next part – part 5 – will draft a similar trip to the world of hardware, of controllers and other electronic circuits.
And from part 6 on grandpa Soundstone will be walking the drafted routes step by step and in detail.
The part 4 of Grandpa Soundstone´s journey is going to be published in September 2018.
And like always: you can follow the goings on about Grandpa Soundstone at
Enjoy your day!
